The HLP-250 Packing Line is our newest high-performance cigarette packing machine, built for manufacturers who want faster, more durable and more efficient pack production. It is supplied by Orchid Tobacco Dubai from our Jebel Ali Free Zone base as part of our wider range of tobacco machinery. It is a double plunger machine controlled by a PLC system, and it is an upgrade on the HLP-225, with improvements in speed, durability and efficiency.
The HLP-250 packs up to 250 packs per minute. It handles King Size, Demi, Slims, Super Slims and Nano cigarettes, and it can be set up for Round Corner, Bevel Edge, D-Type or Square packets. One packing line can therefore serve several formats and pack styles without a change of machine, which suits manufacturers selling in different markets or running private-label contracts.
Four features set this model apart. The auto tray loader reduces manual handling at the start of the line. The 9 stops hopper adds feeding capacity. The 60 pockets drying drum supports consistent drying of the packs. The aluminium body adds strength and a longer working life.
In a factory, the HLP-250 sits after the cigarette making stage. Finished cigarettes come from your cigarette making machines, such as the Protos 70 or Protos 80 ER, and the HLP-250 packs them into finished packets. The auto tray loader is designed to take the trays those machines produce, which cuts handling between the two stages.
It is best suited to high-volume factories that want to pack at speed across several formats, and to plants upgrading an older packing line. Because the PLC system controls the line, it also suits operations that want precise, repeatable operation. As with any packing line, floor space, power supply and the link to your making machines should be planned before delivery.
The HLP-250 is the newest model in the HLP range. Compared with the HLP-225, it offers better speed, durability and efficiency, and it adds the auto tray loader, 9 stops hopper, 60 pockets drying drum and aluminium body.
